SEC LogoStudent Equity Council (SEC) is a K-12 student program that aims to provide an important forum for students from historically marginalized groups to build equity leadership and advocacy skills, identify and address equity issues in their school community, and provide input into school-wide and district-wide equity initiatives.

SECs leverage student voice through student-driven projects such as designing community murals, hosting anti-bullying & anti-slur campaigns, or co-designing policies & solutions with their principal, with the intent of fostering belonging, equitable access, and success for all students on campus.
